From taking a look at the graph I can see that majority of the people who participated in the survey prefer the killer to be a female. This challenge the convention of a typical horror film, as most of the killers in horror films tends to be male. Therefore as a group we decided a female to be appeared as the killer in the teaser trailer, however on the other hand ensuring that too much information is not given out to the audiences in the trailer.
We made this decision by having a look at some teaser trailers of horror films whereby the killers are female, for example, High tension, The Orphan, The Ring, Urban Legend and many more.
