Audience Research Question 20.

Judging from the audience research we have found the majority of the people prefer to see fast editing, for instance actions such as flash changes of sequence or images. More than 3 quarters of the people that have participated in the audience research have chosen fast editing. There are 87% out of the 13% that prefer slow editing. Slow editing will consist of slow motion action such as stunts being carried out which can be seen more of in a action themed movie.

Slow editing does have its benefits as it will show a sequence in detail as it is slowed down for the viewer to grab a few seconds to see what is happening.

Fast editing will be a intense shock with scenes which can make the viewer jump or be horrified. Horror films are usually the type of films which contain shocking visuals to give a intense feeling to the viewer.
