Audience Research Question 18.

From the Audience Research we have found out a close call on the results and the percentages were nearly all even or just about the same. 38% of People that have taken the questionnaire have chose £8.00 - £10.00 to the amount they would pay to watch a film. This is due to the standard pricing of cinemas across the U.K.. It is also a average price that cinemas have in place.

32% of the people have chosen £5.00 - £7.00 that they will pay out of their pockets to watch a film. This is a close all between the 38% that have said they would pay £8.00 - £10.00. The two set of prices are of-course the prices nationwide the cinemas are charging.

Cinemas have set the 2 set of price ranges for a reason, This is due to the entertainment they are providing. Cinemas have a different experience compared to sitting indoors to watch a film on the big screen. The compared differences cannot be like the cinemas. Cinemas provide a true experience with surround sound and dimmed theatres. The large screen provides crisp quality visuals which corporate a entertaining moment.

28% of the audience research shows they would expect to pay more than £10. This can be due to cinemas now days providing 3D Movies which give a even better experience in comparison to the 2D standard definition. 3D Movies require the viewer to purchase a separate 3D Glasses in-order to view the 3D visuals. The standard ticket prices will apply with in addition to the 3D Glasses which can be priced at £4 per glasses.

Last but not least the audience research has given us 2% expecting to pay £0 - £4 to watch a film. This cannot be achieved due to the cinemas needing to make enough revenue to break even in the profits. £0 - £4 cannot be found at cinemas but sometimes there could be offers but known cinemas such as Cineworld, Vue or even Imax will not provide reduced priced tickets.
