Audience Research Question 15.

The idea of a teaser trailer is to persuade the viewer to watch the film. It can be said to be the convincer. The teaser trailers in the eyes of the audience have to be Quite Detailed with the majority favouring it at 75% it is the strong hold. The teaser trailer is only to tease the viewer and must not contain too less detail or very much detail but just in between is preferable.

At 17% the audiences feel a less detailed teaser is enough of a tease and will hopefully be also enough to convince them to watch the film. Less detail will preserve the rest of the movie in other word not too much detail has gone away.

A very detailed teaser is a must for the 8% of the audiences that have taken part. A trailer in their vision has to include as much scenes and build up of excitement in order for them to get the feel of the movie. A fully fledged teaser will provide all the necessary excitement and thrill to be enough to help a viewer make decisions on if they should watch the film.
