Audience Research Question 13.

From taking a look at this graph I can see that majority of the people who took part in our survey stated that they do watch film trailers before they go to the cinema to watch a film. This is why as a group we carefully focused on real horror trailers and followed the typical conventions that are commonly seen in horror trailers.
This helped us acknowledge that mis-en-scene was the key point of creating an effective teaser trailer, as we carefully focused on, what the type of costumes to be worn by the actors in the trailer.
We also closely looked at how Non-Verbal Communication was used in trailers and how the good use of facial expression helped to empathise with what is taking place on in the teaser trailer.
Another factor that we closely look at was the types of lighting. From looking at most horror teaser trailers we saw that a lot of the horror teaser trailers used low key lighting this creates a tensed atmosphere.
