Audience Research Question 17.


With promotional offers at many cinemas to bring in the customers just about half of the audiences have said they visit the cinemas to watch a film every two weeks. According to the pie chart the figures have quoted 49% visit every two weeks.

Only 23% percent of the audience have said once a month. For the people the cinemas is not a regular activity it is just a place which only gets visited during free time or only when with a couple of family or friends.

Film fanatics which love to be ahead of all the latest films will go every week. These are enthusiasts, from the audience research 13% have said to visit the cinemas every week.

From the audience research there are at least 10% of the people which have said they visit the cinemas every day to watch a film. The 10% can be said to be hardcore film enthusiast which love to spend there free time watching movies. There preferences of type of film will be any genres, as the cinemas do not have one kind of genre but they show a variety and to be able to visit the cinemas every day they are bound to watch a different genre of film every day.

There are 5% of the people that participated in the research say they only visit the cinemas once a year. They may be the type of people which do not have a keen interest in watching film. They may usually be with a group of friends or family and happen to watch a film.
